Torsten Krüger advises clients with regards to international applications and the enforcement of trademark rights. Since 1997, he is in charge of extensive trademark portfolios and advises clients regarding their international strategy in the trademark sector. He especially represents mid-sized, worldwide operating German and foreign based companies. Torsten Krüger works closely together with IP-specialized foreign associates.
He specialises mainly in the national and international Research in the Trademark sector, questions of registration capability as well as the Implementation of trademark proceedings, specifically registration, opposition and cancellation proceedings. He prepares and negotiates agreements between the parties.
In addition, his working area includes questions in regard to design and copyright law as well as unfair competition law.
Torsten Krüger has represented numerous clients before the German Federal Patent Court and the European Court in Luxembourg. He also appeared in litigation disputes before the German Civil courts.
He speaks fluent business English and has basic knowledge in French and Spanish.

Furthermore, Torsten Krüger represents the interests of foreign clients Europe-wide, among others interests of a global Swiss industrial group, a globally leading worldwide operating Chinese technology enterprise, a Chinese producer of equipment for gaming software and a globally leading producer of telecommunication devices.
He started his professional career with the Deutsche Bank AG as an apprentice. After successful completion of his training, he studied law specialising in civil and economic law at the University of Göttingen. He completed his legal traineeship especially at the Higher Reginal Court of Celle and a well-known law office in Göttingen, Germany.
Since 2008 he is a Specialist Solicitor for Industrial Property.
For the institute of advanced training of the German Bar association, Stuttgart, he regularly executes seminars regarding national and international trademark and design law.
