Since 2015 Thomas Ulrich is entrusted with drafting patent applications, assistance in patent prosecution and opposition proceedings, expert opinions on patent infringement and validity, freedom-to-operate analyses, as well as with performing prior art searches.
His technical expertise focuses on biology, in particular cell biology, microbiology and molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, food technology, pharmacy and chemistry.
Thomas Ulrich studied Biochemistry at the Eberhard-Karls-University of Tübingen and graduated in 2011 with a diploma in biochemistry. Within the framework of his doctorate at the University of Tübingen he worked at the Interfaculty Institute of Biochemistry in the field of protein biogenesis and received his PhD in 2015.
From 2015 to 2017 Thomas Ulrich was trained in the field of Intellectual Property Law at Gleiss Große Schrell und Partner.
Thomas Ulrich is fluent in German and English.
